I seen the add myself during neighbours this evening, Margot will be one of the stars who started the beginning of a successful career on Neighbours along with the likes of Delta Goodrem, Guy Pearce and Kylie Minogue. Australian viewers will be lucky enough to see this airing on Channel 10, Monday 16th March. Here is the small preview:
While making the caper dramedy Focus, Will Smith and Margot Robbie trained on set with thief expert Apollo Robbins, who taught Smith mind tricks and Robbie how to lift cellphones off unsuspecting production assistants.
It didn’t always go so well.
“I chickened out when I had to do the actual lift and the guy turned around and my hand was in his back pocket,” says Robbie, mimicking her shame. “And it just looked like I was trying to cop a feel. Every time I walked past him in the hallways he’d put his back to the wall.”
And thus, a set reputation was born. Or as Smith mimics it: “That’s Margot Robbie, Australian ass-grabber!”Read more on the bad word that got Margot the job.
Margot Robbie is a beautiful woman who’s undoubtedly heard plenty of pick-up lines in her time. Now she’s offering up some terrible ones of her own, as scripted by Josh Horowitz of MTZ. Watch the video below!
Horowitz handed Robbie a bunch of funny, bizarre come-ons to read for the camera. The Focus actress could barely keep it together as she offered her best spin on gems like: “You won’t regret this. I can eat more Taco Bell than anyone you’ve ever met.”
There was a definite scatological theme to the lines. “Meet me in the bathroom in five minutes,” recited Robbie. “I made a bit of a mess in there and someone needs to go clean up.” She also asked, “How attached are you to your penis, on a scale of 1 to 10?” But our favorite might be, “I bet you’re wondering why I’m smiling so much. You’ll smell it in a second.”
Speaking of pick-up lines, while talking to “Extra” on the Oscars red carpet last week, Robbie mentioned one of her attempts to flirt with a waiter. “I was out to dinner, I was walking out and he’s like, ‘Okay see you later,’ and I was like, ‘Are you gonna call me.’ He’s like, ‘Call you? I don’t have your number,’ and then I grabbed a pen and wrote my number on his arm.” Smooth. Watch some less successful pick-up lines in the MTV video below.
Jimmy Fallon welcomed Margot Robbie as his latest guest on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
The host decided to challenge the actress to an intense game of beer pong.
“I’ve had practice at this one,” Robbie joked with Fallon.
The game required the players to chug the drink inside the cup then flip it over on the edge of the table.
First one to flip all their cups wins.
Not only did she cream him in the game, she beat him in heels.
The Australian actress found herself living up to her country’s criminal convict past after getting sprung red-handed pickpocketing.
Margot Robbie revealed on Thursday on Good Morning America, that her efforts to go into character for her new movie led her being caught stealing.
The 24-year-old fessed up to not being as good of a thief as she hoped to become.
Will Smith and his co-star Margot Robbie attend the premiere of their new film Focus at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The stars greeted fans and stopped for photographs
Will try and get photos from the event when I get time.
Australia’s Margot Robbie has potentially solidified herself a good ten years of upfront work in blockbusters.
The beautiful “Wolf of Wall Street” star was interviewed on the Red Carpet at the Oscars by AZCentral, who asked her about her next gig, that of Harley Quinn in Warner’s stout superhero pic “Suicide Squad”. Not surprisingly, Robbie hinted that she’s had to agree to play the Joker’s girlfriend in more than one movie.
“You don’t need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away. … But with her, it’s a character I don’t think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did Suicide Squad One, Two and Three, I would be over the moon about it.”
MTV also caught up with Robbie at the Oscars, and asked her about whether or not she’s been spending time with Jared Leto (the future ‘Joker’) to get their onscreen chemistry down pat.
