Following in the footsteps of other famous Australian siblings like the Hemsworth brothers and the Cornish sisters, Margot Robbie’s younger and very handsome brother Cameron is set to dazzle on the big screen.
The 19-year-old is busy honing his acting skills and is dreaming big.
Cameron began filming the short-film Gifted on the Gold Coast last Thursday, taking his first steps into the industry that has welcomed his talented sister with open arms.
Last week the gorgeous teen shared a shot with social media followers of himself in character, only revealing the lower half of his face under a black hoodie, captioned: ”Menacing’ look into #purryburryproductions “Gifted”.’
Just a month before he was filming a music video at sunrise.
He told the Gold Coast Bulletin that he was armed with plenty of advice from his Wolf Of Wall Street star sister.
‘My sister and I liked to perform all the time, (including) skits at home. When she started succeeding, I realised you can do this as a job.’
‘She is such a grounded, supportive and intelligent girl. There’s such a business side to this world … and she’s helping with (that).’
In the film Gifted, he stars as Malcolm — the antagonist of superhero Guardian, played by David Breen.
‘This is the first time I get to play a dynamic, intense character,’ he said.
But before taking on Hollywood, the Gold Coast-born actor said he might work on his acting skills in Melbourne, just like his movie star sister, who appeared on long-running soap Neighbours before making it in the US.
The close siblings spent the European summer exploring Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal and France, where Margot celebrated her 23rd birthday atop the Eiffel Tower.
The pair have two other siblings, another brother and sister.
On Sunday the actress was crowned the Best Female Newcomer award for The Wolf Of Wall Street at the Jameson Empire Awards in London.
