Here are some onset photos from September 25th of Margot from her latest project “Wolf of Wallstreet” opposite Leonardo DiCaprio! Just over 50MQ & 5HQ added! Enjoy =] (First row HQ, last 2 rows MQ).
Relaxing in her dressing gown and slippers between takes, Margot Robbie gave no hint of the transformation to come. But as she slipped into a little black dress that revealed her endless legs the blonde underwent a not so major transformation into a sexy div. She plays Leonardo Dicaprio’s love interest in the forthcoming eighties period drama Wolf On Wall Street.
Shooting in Brooklyn on Monday, Margot donned an eighties tube minidress for her role, complete with period stiletto heels. This the first major feature role for the Australian born actress, who was previously a regular on the soap Neighbours.Margot also starred on the ABC series Pan Am in 2011 and also recently began filming the Richard Curtis feature comedy About Time for universal. In the movie, which is slated to appear in cinemas next year, DiCaprio plays Long Island penny stockbroker Jordon Belfort, who served 20 months in prison for refusing to cooperate in a massive 1990s securities fraud case.
The case involved widespread corruption on Wall Street and in the corporate banking world, including mob infiltration. The controversial film is already causing a stir for its brazen use of sex and vice to sell its story, with prostitution and cocaine use central to its plot. Previous reports cited Leonardo DiCaprio and Matthew McConaughey shooting with several naked brunette strippers at soon-to-open drag bar Lucky Cheng’s, on West 52nd Street in Manhattan. Yet such scenes seem tame compared to others in the film. A source told the New York Daily News: ‘Leo will be partying hard and celebrating his marriage.’ The source adds that: ‘All the actors will be prepared to snort lines and do plenty of drugs that night. There’s so much drug use, they will not be welcomed back to Anguilla.’
According to the Daily News, director Martin Scorsese and crew searched for weeks before settling on a Hamptons house that could be styled to look like the Caribbean island Anguilla’s Malliouhana Hotel. Casting for the 250 actors needed to portray ‘upscale beach wedding guest types’ started a month ago. The male actors chosen were asked to grow out their beards and hair, while the women will be decked out in floral and ruffle dresses.
‘They want to depict an over-the-top crazy wedding with lots of outrageous people running around’: claimed the NYC paper .
Former Neighbours actress Margot Robbie in finals talk to play female lead in movie The Wolf Of Wall Street.
FORMER “Neighbours” starlet Margot Robbie may have had a bit of bad luck, with her airline TV series Pan Am being axed in the US.
But the up-and-coming actress, currently shooting comedy movie About Time with Rachael McAdams in England, is being tipped for one of the year’s biggest film roles.
The 21-year-old Melbourne local is reportedly in final talks with producers of the much-buzzed-about Martin Scorsese-directed The Wolf Of Wall Street – opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to industry website Deadline, Robbie is tipped to play the female lead in the film that stars DiCaprio as the real-life (and now reformed) booze-swilling, drug-inhaling Wall Street broker Jordan Belfort.
It’s understood Robbie is likely to play Belfort’s wife Nadine, with Jonah Hill and French Oscar winner Jean Dujardin already confirmed for co-starring roles.
According to imdb.com, Margot will be playing in a Comedy/Drama/Sci-fi movie named “About Time” along side Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy & Domhnall Gleeson. Supposed to be out for release sometime next year! Will keep you updated on this project, currently in Pre-Production!
With the fate of “Pan Am” still up in the air (no pun intended, seriously), it’s uncertain whether fans of the series will ever have a chance to see their favorite period drama again. But before the show calls it a season, and maybe a series, on Sunday (Feb. 19), they’re going out with a whopper of a storyline.
In a sneak preview video, we learn more about the troubled relationship between Ted (Michael Mosley) and Amanda (Ashley Greene). It appears that Ted might still have feelings for Laura (Margot Robbie).
Amanda confronts Laura, saying, “He’s running away from our wedding. I think the main reason is you.” Amanda then proposes something that she believes is in the best interest of all parties involved. But Laura isn’t so sure.
Here’s the video…
Dang, wont be seeing Pan Am not till December 4!! Here is info on the episode plus video preview!
“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”
– Once in London, Ted enlists Laura’s help to try to make an old flame – Amanda Mason (Ashley Greene) — jealous, but things don’t go the way he expects. Meanwhile, Kate attempts to regain her freedom from her courier duties by agreeing to one last mission for her British contact, but the dangerous assignment not only puts her life in jeopardy but Anderson’s as well; Maggie butts heads with a hawkish congressman who disagrees with her political views, but things really heat up when she tries to change his mind about his beliefs and ends up sparking an attraction with him; and back at home, Dean takes Colette to meet his parents and the two discover feelings that have been brewing for a long time, on “Pan Am,” SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
“Pan Am” stars Christina Ricci as Maggie, Margot Robbie as Laura, Michael Mosley as Ted, Mike Vogel as Dean, Karine Vanasse as Colette and Kelli Garner as Kate.
Guest starring are Ashley Greene(“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” and “Twilight”) as Amanda Mason, David Harbour as Anderson, Chris Beetem as Chris Rawlings, John Bedford Lloyd as Captain Dennis, Damian Young as Mr. Bolger, Jim Coope as Bill Lowrey and Ann Dowd as Marjorie Lowrey.

Take four very spirited stewardesses, two manly pilots, a hostile war zone and tropical storm conditions and mix them together. What do you get? ‘Unscheduled Departure,’ an action-packed episode of ‘Pan Am’ (Sun., Nov. 13, 10PM ET on ABC).
“This is actually my favorite episode,” Margot Robbie told AOL TV on the New York set of the ABC drama. “I think it’s my favorite episode so far. Berlin, I really, really love, but this one I literally couldn’t put the script down, and I’m not just saying that.”
In ‘Unscheduled Departures,’ the crew encounters serious turbulence — both inside and outside the plane — on the way to Caracas, Venezuela. A passenger suffers a heart attack and it turns out there’s no doctor on board the flight. Ted (Michael Mosley) and Colette (Karine Vanasse) venture out on their own to find help.
“It was one of my favorites too,” Mosley said. “There’s just an adrenaline to it that’s just really exciting. In prior episodes, there’d be two or three of us here and there, going off to do different things. In this one, we’re all facing the same direction.”
While searching for a doctor and medicine, Colette gets to use her native language.
“We take off, we’re not supposed to go to Haiti, but finally because of a hurricane and because of somebody being sick on the plane, we have to land,” Vanasse said. “Once we land, we sort of see that, well, we didn’t chose the right place to land.”
Along with the drama off the plane, the ladies have to deal with guest star Aaron Diaz. In the episode, the multi-talented Mexican star plays Miguel, a charming and wealthy passenger who has charmed the stewardesses with promises of yacht trips.
“It’s like an action movie in one episode,” Robbie said. “It’s incredible … The stakes are so high, it’s gripping.”
Check out an exclusive preview of the episode below.
On Sunday night’s episode of “Pan Am,” we certainly saw a rather interesting diversion for Margot Robbie’s character of Laura — rather than get closer to being with Ted in this past episode, she ended up having a brief relationship with Joe, an African-American sailor that was treated poorly by a number of people for circumstances beyond his control.
So what’s goint to happen here? Speaking to E! News, Robbie says that Ted and Laura will not be on the backburner for particularly long:
“I was really surprised too, because I thought that they were definitely going to make that storyline happen first. But Laura and Ted kind of rekindle that in future episodes. In fact, in the next episode there is a lot more of Laura and Ted love interest storyline. It’s so sweet and it’s so fun.”
These two have already had one memorable storyline this season courtesy of trying to get an engagement ring back — so we’re excited to see what happens next.
Are you hoping to see Laura and Ted together?
